Some of the most rewarding gardens are the ones you get to watch mature over the years.
This is one of the very first gardens we created for this Dracut client four years ago. Today, it’s overflowing with colorful perennials, ornamental shrubs, and layers of texture that continue to become more beautiful with each growing season.
Although the homeowners have since moved to Florida, their tenants now enjoy the beauty of the gardens every day. That’s one of the many benefits of a thoughtfully designed perennial garden—it continues to flourish year after year.
As part of this season’s maintenance, we refreshed the beds with 2 yards of compost, topped everything with 3 yards of nutrient-rich leaf mulch, applied Osmocote slow-release fertilizer, and added six new perennials to enhance the display.
The result is a vibrant garden filled with colorful blooms, striking foliage, and beautifully layered shrubs that provide interest from spring through fall.
