When I first met this Westford MA couple, they came prepared with rapid-fire questions. I definitely had to stay on my game! After a lot of conversation, ideas and planning, they said yes to our garden proposal and we got to work.
On planting day, I decided to try something a little different. I invited the homeowners to help lay out the plants so they could be part of the design process. About a half hour later they were still deciding where everything should go, and I started wondering if that had been such a great idea!
But they really enjoyed being involved, and the finished gardens became something we created together.
The clients were so happy with the transformation that they had Greenleaf’s Garden Design return just a week later to install crushed stone along the porch and foundation.
That turned out to be the finishing touch. The warm stone, fresh mulch, new plantings and beautiful front porch all work together and make the entire landscape feel connected.
By our mid-June progress check, everything was settling in beautifully.
