Privacy was the priority for this North Andover homeowner, and he wasn’t interested in waiting years for his trees to grow!
Our client had a beautiful backyard, but he wanted something more — a lush, natural green screen that would provide privacy from neighboring properties. And he was very specific about one thing: no gaps between the trees!
After visiting the property and evaluating the space, Greenleaf’s Garden Design developed a planting plan that would deliver exactly what he envisioned.
We calculated that eight towering arborvitaes, each standing an impressive 10 to 12 feet tall, would be needed along the left side of the yard. Two additional arborvitaes would fill in the middle section, while a Green Giant in the far back right corner would provide additional screening from the neighbors.
Big Trees, Big Job, Big Transformation!
Installing mature evergreens of this size takes planning, patience, and plenty of muscle!
Our crew got to work digging the planting holes, maneuvering those substantial root balls, and carefully positioning each tree to create a continuous wall of greenery.
As each arborvitae was planted, the backyard began taking on an entirely new appearance. The once-open views were replaced with tall, beautiful evergreens that instantly brought a greater sense of privacy and enclosure to the property.
We completed the installation with freshly mulched planting beds, creating a clean, finished appearance that beautifully complemented the white vinyl fencing and surrounding landscape.
An Instant Wall of Green!
The finished result was exactly what our client had hoped for — a dramatic evergreen privacy screen without having to wait years for smaller trees to mature.
The tall arborvitaes brought height, texture, and year-round greenery to the backyard, transforming the space into a more secluded outdoor retreat.
And the homeowner’s reaction? He was quite happy with his instant wall of green!
Another rewarding landscape transformation where thoughtful planning and the right plant selection made all the difference.
