The desire to garden quite often starts with “will this vegetable plant grow enough so I can eat it”?
I want to try tomatoes, peppers, lettuce and summer squash. How do I do that? The keys to success here are deep rich soil with compost, at least 6 hours of full midday sunshine, and ample water.
The best way is to start with tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, summer squash, collards and spinach.
As you learn the tricks naturally you will want to grow more interesting and challenging plants to expand your repertoire.
