A garden can change dramatically in just a few weeks!
This is a mid-May update from an Amherst, NH garden that we planted last month. The new plantings are already beginning to settle into their woodland setting, and the difference is wonderful to see.
One of the highlights is the dense pink-flowering groundcover, which has filled in beautifully along the garden edges and stonework. The combination of flowering groundcover, shade-loving plants, established shrubs, and the surrounding woods gives this garden a natural, layered appearance that feels right at home in the landscape.
At Greenleaf’s Garden Design, we enjoy returning to newly planted gardens to see how quickly they begin to establish. This Amherst garden is off to a beautiful start—and it will only become fuller as the season progresses
