Bunny Free Zone in Billerica, MA.
We turned a weed-choked, bunny-ravaged garden in Billerica, MA, into a vibrant, protected oasis that’s now the talk of the neighborhood! This project, completed on June 3, 2025, showcases our ability to tackle tough challenges and create stunning, wildlife-resistant landscapes.
Project Highlights
- The Challenge: The client’s old garden was overrun with invasive bittersweet and served as a buffet for the local bunny population. After assessing the site, we determined the garden was too entangled to save. Our solution? A complete overhaul!
- Day of Transformation: On June 3, 2025, our team got to work. Using our low-impact Toro Dingo, we removed 7 yards of poor soil and debris, digging 8 inches deep to ensure a clean slate. We then replaced it with our premium Garden Mix Soil (a blend of loam and compost). Thanks to the efficiency of our four-person crew, the entire process took just 6 hours!
- A Bunny-Proof Paradise: We installed 30 summer-focused flowering perennials, carefully selected for their beauty and resilience. To keep the bunnies at bay, we added protective fencing, ensuring the garden remains a bunny-free zone. The vibrant blooms now thrive without interference, much to the frustration of the local rabbits!
- Client and Community Reaction: The client was ecstatic, watching their weed-filled plot transform into a colorful display of perennials. By August 2025, the garden had become a neighborhood sensation, with passersby stopping to admire its beauty.
