This Westford, MA client desired a 2,000 square foot wildflower garden. The first job for Greenleaf’s Garden Design was to use a hedge trimmer on the weeds. As I was cutting, I hit a hornet nest. I was stung 4 times. The good news is that was a White Face nest. Which meant it was above ground so I could crush it. After an hour we saw the nest had been cut through with the hedge trimmer!!! I spread the nest and continued using the dingo to pull up the weeds. On day two we cut back brush and used the dingo to push it into the woods. After the client picks the wildflower mix she wants, we will return to plant them.
