The crew and dingo were used on this project in Wilmington, MA.
The 16 six- and 1/2-foot Arborvitaes arrived from Mahoney’s in Winchester. The Dingo transported them up a 250-foot route to the plastic fence. We had to lay 2 yards to decrease the slope for the Dingo. The client wanted a quick screen, so we chose two lines. After 2 hours, they were positioned next to the plastic fence. We moved 8 yards of Mahoney’s Ocean Enhanced Compost in about 3 hours. My super helper was quite sick today, so I put on my big boots and completed the setting up of the trees and soil.
Day 2 included the planting of the 16 six and half tall Western Green Giant Arborvitaes.
Well, the moderate rain started at hour number 2. The forecast called for a chance of rain. With rain jackets on, the 5-member crew finished planting in 8 hours.
On Day 3, the Dingo and driver moved 8 yards on a 250-foot path to spread the lovely black mulch in 7 hours.
Greenleaf’s Garden Design is dedicated to working in tandem with nature. When there are existing gems in your yard, our goal is to create a plan to incorporate those with a gardener and certified arborist’s eye.
On the final Day 4,The crew of 4 started at 8:00 am. The property owner said “The Greenleaf’s crew earns a 10 out 10 for your precise updates and the beautiful work”.
Today we planted 5 additional Arborvitaes in area that needed screening. Next was the planting of 7 shrubs, a purple magnolia, and 30 summer booming perennials. Finally, our last task was spreading multiple yards of mulch. At 2 pm we completed this project.
Each plant has a drip irrigation line.
