This client’s love for purples inspired us! Despite the husband’s initial skepticism, we selected the most impactful plants to bring her vision to life. I sourced the best compost, steppingstones, and mulch from new local nurseries. 

Over two days in early July, our crew installed 84 perennials and 4 shrubs, using 10 yards of soil and 2 yards of mulch. We crafted a unique bowtie-shaped design, incorporating the client’s provided bench and adding irrigation for easy maintenance. 

The client was thrilled with the result! In September, during my return visit, she shared, “My husband spends more time on the bench than I do.” I replied, “Yeah!! We have a convert to the love of purples!”—a testament to the garden’s charm. 

The bold purple palette, enriched with quality soil and mulch, combined with a thoughtful design, has created a striking garden. The irrigation ensures longevity, while the bench adds a cozy focal point.
