Edging & Mulching
by Greenleaf’s Garden Design!
Which mulch have you used before that you liked? How do you want the edging this year? When do you want the mulching to begin?
The choices are Hemlock, Red Cedar, Pine, Black or Wood Chips. The best mulch is ground up leaves, which I use in my gardens. “Mad Mics” is a blend of leaves, decomposed non-smelling manure, hay, grasses, and wood shavings. It breaks down into nutrient rich soil. Before we lay mulch, we will weed, cut an edge, and then spread the mulch to the appropriate depth. On the day the mulch is laid, an edge will be cut in around plants or rocks and we will spread the mulch to the depth you requested.
