Garden Consultation

During our first phone call, Rich will ask a few general questions and then you can choose a day to tour your gardens. While Rich is visiting your gardens, he will listen to your garden success stories and areas that need help. He will assess the site, noting how much sunshine reaches the garden and what the soil conditions are as well as how these conditions affect your plants. After studying what has worked well in your garden and what is struggling, he will share his ideas on how to enhance your plants.

Sometimes you know what the challenges are and just need some guidance or a mentor. Rich can provide a maintenance, renovation, or installation plan. He can create a design you can implement or a specialized design for your unique garden.

Rich knows which plants will thrive here, what they need, and how they will look in 2, 5, or 10 years from now. He can help with the best plant choices and which nurseries will have them. He can help with all types of gardens (there is a nifty list at the bottom of the home page).

Tree Consultation

Rich was the owner of Greenleaf’s Tree Service for 22 years. He is a Massachusetts Certified Arborist, so he speaks for the trees. He has encouraged clients to remove hazardous branches or entire trees. He can also determine which ones to keep after verifying the health and safety. When he walks your property, he can provide answers to your questions and create a plan. He works part time for the company who bought Greenleaf’s Tree Service.
