Our historic Pepperell garden is waking up beautifully!
These photos were taken in May, when the gardens were just beginning to transition into their summer show. The lavender is filling out, the perennials are gaining size, and flower buds throughout the beds are getting ready to burst into color.
The homeowner was quite happy with how everything was looking—and we can see why. The established gardens complement the character of this beautiful historic home without overpowering it, creating a soft, natural landscape around the porch and property.
Greenleaf’s Garden Design continues to maintain these beds so the plants can mature, spread and provide more color, texture and vibrancy as the season progresses.
