What a difference just two months can make! We’re back in Hudson, NH, for a late July progress report on this newly installed garden, and the results are looking wonderful!
The gorgeous red roses are already celebrating their second flush of vibrant blooms, bringing brilliant color to the beautifully curved garden bed. Meanwhile, the Japanese Holly is thriving, adding structure and rich greenery, while the Pachysandra is settling in beautifully along the garden’s edge.
The combination of colorful roses, lush evergreens and low-growing groundcover creates a lovely contrast against the stone retaining wall. Around the front entrance, ornamental grasses and established shrubs complement the fresh mulch and elegant stone walkway.
At Greenleaf’s Garden Design, we love returning to our newly installed gardens to see how the plants are establishing themselves. This Hudson garden is off to a beautiful start, and we’re looking forward to watching it mature over the coming seasons!
Just two months old, and already putting on quite a show!
