A Mid-Summer Garden Metamorphosis!

Even in the middle of July, there’s always an opportunity to bring new life, color, and balance to an established landscape!

Our Greenleaf’s Garden Design crew returned to this beautiful Nashua, NH property to refresh several garden areas, introduce new flowering shrubs, and create a more natural flow throughout the landscape.

A Fresh Look for the Foundation Gardens

We began by relocating approximately 60% of the existing daffodils from the front foundation garden to the perennial bed on the right side of the home. This opened up valuable space for some beautiful new additions!

We planted three dwarf white flowering hydrangeas, a dwarf smoke bush, and a Double Play Doozie® Spirea. These selections bring a wonderful combination of foliage, texture, and seasonal color to complement the home’s architecture.

Giving the Perennials Room to Shine

Along the right-side perennial garden, we introduced approximately seven additional plants, carefully positioning each one to maintain the natural spacing and flow of the existing landscape.

Sometimes a garden doesn’t need a complete redesign. A few thoughtfully placed plants can make all the difference!

A Touch of Blue in the Backyard

To complete this mid-summer garden refresh, we added two beautiful blue hydrangeas to the backyard garden bed, bringing another splash of color to this inviting outdoor living space.

The Finishing Touch

With freshly defined garden beds, rich mulch, and a thoughtful combination of new and established plantings, this Nashua property now has a refreshed, polished appearance from the front entrance to the backyard deck.

At Greenleaf’s Garden Design, we believe great gardens continue to evolve. Whether it’s a complete transformation or a carefully planned seasonal upgrade, every plant has its place!
