This new Dunstable MA client already had a beautiful fire pit area surrounded by stone walls, but the space around it was completely open and ready for a garden transformation.
The first mission for the Greenleaf’s Garden Design crew was a big one. We removed and moved 10 yards of existing soil to the wooded area of the property, carefully laying down plywood to help protect the lawn while we worked.
Next came 10 yards of fresh Garden Soil, creating a rich new planting bed that followed the curves of the stonework. Then we installed 80 beautiful perennials, combining different heights, textures and colors to create a garden that will continue filling in and changing through the seasons.
We also planted 5 Arborvitaes along the property border, adding natural screening and year-round greenery.
The finished garden completely changed the area around the fire pit—and the clients adored their new gardens!
